Aubrey Plaza
Aubrey Plaza (born June 26, 1984) is a performer, comedian and known for expressing her wit in a humorous style. April Ludgate plays her on Parks and Recreation. It was with The Jeannie Tate Show when she began her online show after performing sketch comedy, improvised material and various forms of improvisation at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. Her next appearance was in Judd Apatow's Funny People and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World at the end of her career. It is fitting to celebrate her birth this day. Aubrey Christina Plaza was born in Wilmington Delaware the daughter of attorney Bernadette Plaza and Financial Specialist David Plaza. Her mother is Irish and English and her father comes from Puerto Rico. Plaza was educated at an all girls Catholic school in 2002 as well as the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University in 2006. When she was in her senior year at her high school years, she was President of the Student Council at her Catholic all-girls school and took part in Wilmington Drama League performances. Plaza had a stroke during her sophomore year in college. The result was an expressive aphasia aswell being paralyzed. She is now fully recovered. Plaza has done improv at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, New York City since 2004. The Laugh Factory, The Improv and The Laugh Factory in N.Y.C. are just a few of the places she performed stand up comedy. Plaza starred in E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street as Robin Gibney, The Jeannie Tate Show featuring Ben Schwartz and also the premiere Terrible Decisions episode. Troopers on CollegeHumor featured Plaza as the role of Princess, a satirical Sci-Fi character. Plaza was first seen playing saxophone alongside Cassorla's Bona Fide. Her first appearance was as a guest in the Father John's Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings 'in 2012. In 2016 Plaza appeared on HarmonQuest in the role of Hawaiian Coffee a gnome. The same year she portrayed Aaron Burr In Drunk History and Cat Adams in Season 11 of the C.B.S. the television series Criminal Minds. In Season 12, she returned to the show with a resounding success in the character. In the following year the actress was confirmed as appearing in An Evening of Beverly Luff Linn, an indie comedy.
